Abstract

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for adjusting a digital image, and the method for adjusting a digital image is executed by an image generating device of a handheld multimedia player. A first signal adjustment unit reduces a resolution of a received image frame by discarding part of the scan lines in the image frame. Before transmitting the content of a first image frame to the display module through the image generating device, the content of the first image frame is adjusted to a second image frame according to the response of the second signal adjustment unit. The display module avoids the adjustment of the second image frame by the first signal adjustment unit, and generates a display image frame for displaying on a display panel and outputs the second image frame to the display module.
