Abstract

The invention provides a communication system based on a PCIE switching network which includes a main control board, a line card board and a PCIE switching equipment. The line card board includes a control device and an adaptation device; the adaptation device converts message came from the line card board control device into PCIE message, and transmits to the main control board or other line card boards through the PCIE switching equipment; the adaptation device receives PCIE message transmitted by the main control board or other line card board through the PCIE switching device, and converts to adaptation message of the control device for transmitting to the control device. The invention also provides a communication method and a line card board based on PCIE switching network. In the embodiment of the invention, the adaptation device added between the PCIE switcher and the line card control device of communication equipment for example gateway, route also like, can realize adaptation with interface bus and PCIE bus of the control device, and the control device of PCIE bus to the line card board transparent.
