Peripheral Component Interface Express) switchboard and a working method thereof, relating to the technical field of communication, and aiming that the PCIe switchboard is not influenced by processor reset when the PCIe switchboard forwards data. The switchboard comprises a processor, a PCIe switch
chip, a
clock and a power supply, wherein the PCIe switch
chip comprises an uplink port and a downlink port; the PCIe switch
chip is used for shielding a thermal reset command broadcasted by the processor, and the
memory address space of the downlink port of the PCIe switch chip is utilized to forward the data; the processor is connected with the uplink port of the PCIe switch chip and is used for
broadcasting the thermal reset command before the processor resets, carrying out device enumeration after the processor resets, and distributing the
memory address space for the enumerated devices; and when the PCIe switch chip is enumerated, the processor only distributes the
memory address space for the uplink port of the PCIe switch chip. The switchboard can be applied to the PCIe switching technology.
