Example Embodiment

[0012] Example 1:

[0013] Using deionized water as a solvent, the carotenoid synthesis inducer CPTA is formulated into a medicament of 0.01%-1% (mass volume ratio), and 0.1% Tween 80 is added as a surfactant, and shake well. Take a number of freshly harvested tobacco leaves, spray them in a ventilated room, spray them evenly on both sides, and strive to make the leaves even foggy, subject to the dew on the surface of the tobacco leaves, let them dry for 18-24 hours and then transfer to roasting Room for normal baking. The results showed that the total carotenoid content of tobacco leaves after CPTA treatment was increased by 32% compared with the control. In the appearance quality index, the color is significantly deepened, the color saturation and maturity are improved to varying degrees, and the condition of the leaf surface is significantly improved. The sensory evaluation results are shown in Table 1. Compared with the control, the aroma quality of the treatment is significan...

[0016] Example 2:

[0017] Using deionized water as the solvent, the carotenoid synthesis inducer MPTA is formulated into 0.01%-1% (mass to volume ratio) medicament, and 0.1% Tween 60 is added as a surfactant, and shake well. Take a number of freshly harvested tobacco leaves, spray them in a ventilated room, spray evenly on both sides, and strive to make the leaves even foggy, subject to the dew on the surface of the tobacco leaves. Leave it in the air for 18-24 hours and then transfer it to the roasting room for normal baking. The results showed that the total carotenoid content of the tobacco leaves after the MPTA treatment was 58% higher than that of the control. In the appearance quality index, the color has a darkening trend, the color saturation and luster are obviously improved, the condition of the floating green on the leaf surface has been improved, and the degree of leaf looseness has been significantly improved. The sensory evaluation results are shown in Table 2. Comp...

[0020] Example 3:

[0021] Using 5% ethanol as the solvent, the two carotenoid synthesis inducers, CPTA and MPTA, were formulated into 0.01%-1% (mass volume ratio) medicaments, and then the two were mixed at a ratio of 2-5:1 to make a compound Prepare reagents, add 0.1% Tween 80 as a surfactant, and shake well. The tobacco plants are sprayed evenly on the surface of the tobacco leaves on the same day after the topping. During the spraying process, the fog should be uniform and the leaf surface and back of the leaf should be moist. The results showed that the total carotenoid content of tobacco leaves after treatment with CPTA, MPTA and compound reagents was increased by 32%, 41% and 43% respectively compared with the control. In the appearance quality index, the color of the treated tobacco leaves has an obvious darkening trend, the color saturation and gloss have been improved to a certain extent, and the leaf surface and leaf veins have been significantly improved. The sensory e...

Abstract

A method for improving tobacco incense quality by inducing carotenoid synthesis is characterized in that carotenoid synthesis revulsants CPTA and MPTA are applied on the surface of tobacco strains or tobacco leaves to participate in the processes of absorption, decomposition, conversion and synthesis of the tobacco strains, thereby improving the carotenoid content in the tobacco leaves, the presentation quality of the tobacco leaves and the incense quality. The method has the following advantages and effects: carotenoid synthesis revulsants with specific concentrations are applied by top pruning or after tobacco leaf collection for having a regulation function on related enzymic metabolism in the carotenoid synthesis and promoting the improvement of carotenoid content in the tobacco leaves. Tests prove that the application of the two carotenoid synthesis revulsants CPTA and MPTA in the invention can respectively improve the modulated carotenoid content of the tobacco leaves by 32% and 58%, and sensory smoking results show that the incense quality of tobacco leaves can be obviously improved and the irritation and mixed gas are reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of tobacco, in particular to a method for improving the aroma quality of tobacco leaves by inducing carotenoid synthesis, which is mainly achieved by using a certain concentration of carotenoid synthesis inducer at a specific stage of tobacco plant growth or early after picking . Background technique [0002] As smoking and health issues are increasingly concerned, the development and production of low-tar cigarettes has gradually become the development trend of the tobacco industry. The production of low-tar cigarettes is accompanied by the loss of aroma while reducing the amount of tar, thus putting forward higher requirements for the aroma quality of tobacco raw materials. Carotenoid is an important aroma precursor in tobacco leaves, and its degradation products damascenone and macrostigmatrienone have been recognized as important aroma components in tobacco leaves. As anti-aging and anti-free radical sub...
