Abstract

A method of printing an image and a photo printing system and a digital camera adapted for the printing method are provided. The method of printing an image is a printing method for outputting through a photo printer an image stored in an image storage device. The method includes: setting a temporary printing area on an image to be printed; determining whether or not an option for Paper-full printing in which no space is left on a printing material, is selected; if the Paper-full print option is selected, detecting a face area photographed on the image; determining whether or not the detectedface area is included in a printing area; and according to the determination result, adjusting a printing area so that the face area can be included in the printing area.
