The method for accessing the intelligent SD card comprises the steps that: an application program writes an interface file of the intelligent card; the SD controller is notified to establish the communication with the intelligent card; the application program reads the interface file and receives response data sent back by the intelligent card; when the communication is successfully established, the application program writes an operating command of the intelligent card in the interface file, which is retransmitted to the intelligent card by the SD controller; and the application program reads the interface file and receives the response data sent back by the intelligent card by the SD controller. The method provided by the invention can realize the drive-free access of the intelligent SD card and any upper layer application program which can access the SD card can conveniently access the intelligent card embedded in the SD card through the interface.
