The sound source wavetable is from a timbre sample when the musical instrument has a playing gene frequency of 440.00 Hz and is saved in the equipment memory in the form of a dimensional array. The sound source frequency-conversion table is based on the musical tone with a gene frequency of 440.00 Hz and the basic tone frequency for other pitches is made relatively to the gene tone of 440.00 Hz required by the well-tempered clavier. For timbre synthesizing, the low-end audio equipment adopting the simplified synthesis algorithm for wide-range timbres achieves timbre synthesis based on the sound source wavetable in the memory, according to the timbre-synthesizing rules and referring to the converted quantity of the sound source frequency-conversion table.
