The invention discloses a method for adding time division mechanism in CSMA / CA by the aid of CTS, comprising: access point AP distributes time slices of each terminal according to preset time cycle and current terminal number, in each time slice, AP broadcasts terminal address permitting communication and time slice sequence number to each terminal by CTS data frame, and carries out data-transmission with the current terminal permitting communication; when a new adding terminal is connected with the AP device, the new adding terminal occupies the communicating time slice of the current terminal, when current time cycle ends, AP recalculates number of the current terminals. The method of the invention can avoids congestion to system because of exist of hidden station when the terminal accesses AP by wireless or coaxial cable manners; especially for the access system based on coaxial cable network, congestion of access system will not occur even if distance of each terminal is long and hidden station is generated, thereby effectively raising communication capability of the access network.
