Abstract

The invention relates to a wastewater treatment composite filler containing zeolite and pulverized fuel ash, which is prepared by non-sintered technique and has the main raw materials of the zeolite and the pulverized fuel ash. The filler is used for treating organic matter, ammonia nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen in the wastewater, and has excellent performance and easily obtained raw materials with low price; the preparation technique of the filler is simple and free from pollution. Zeolite powder with the fineness of 80 meshes and the pulverized fuel ash reaching national first-grade standard are utilized for preparing porous spherical ceramsite type composite filler by a pelletizer, so that the composite filler has high ammonia nitrogen removing rate and better strength and can well meet the requirements of water quality advanced treatment. The preparation technique is simple and free from pollution and opens up a new approach for the utilization of the zeolite and the pulverized fuel ash, thus having the advantages of energy conservation and emission reduction as well as good environmental and economical benefits since the pulverized fuel ash discharged from a thermal power plant can be recycled.
