Abstract

The invention relates to a pollen specificity expression promoter and a plant expression vector thereof, wherein the promoter has a sequence under 1 item in a sequence list, with the length of 521bp, and a combined CaMV35S promoter replaces the plant expression vector pBI121 to construct a new plant expression vector which is named as pBITG6. The acquisition of the provided promoter creates conditions for a plant male sterile line and a restoring line obtained by using gene engineering, provides evidence for gene engineering research and provides basis for the specificity expression of an exogenous gene in the pollen. The exogenous gene can be a gene capable of coding disinsection toxin (targeting insects feeding on the pollen), a gene capable of increasing or decorating nutrient values of the pollen, and the like; and an excessive expression myrosase gene possibly has prevention function, and certain release function possibly on allergische rhinitis though applying prevention of pollen generation interfered by RNAi to roadside trees, thereby having important theoretical and practical meaning.
