The invention discloses processing method, device and system of user identity information in a GPON (Gigabit-Capable PON) system, wherein the method comprises the following steps of: determining that the character string length of the user identity information of an SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) conversation exceeds a threshold value by an optical line terminal (OLT); constructing an optical network terminal management control interface (OMCI) message by the OLT, wherein the user identity information of the SIP conversation is carried by the OMCI message; sending the OMCI message to an optical network unit (ONU) or an optical network terminal (ONT) by the OLT; and obtaining the user identity information from the OMCI message by the ONU or the ONT. Through the invention, the super-long user identity information at an ONU / ONT end can be set and managed through an OLT end.
