[0024] The invention relates to a method for automatically adjusting the brightness of a backlight source through ambient light sources and brightness displayed on a liquid crystal panel. The present invention is mainly used in liquid crystal display systems. Please refer to figure 1 , figure 1 It is a schematic diagram illustrating the liquid crystal display system 100 . The liquid crystal display system 100 includes a light source sensor module 102 , a controller 104 , a backlight control module 106 and a man-machine interface module 108 . The light source sensing module 102 is coupled to the controller 104 for sensing the brightness of the external light source and sending an appropriate light source input value to the controller 104 . The controller 104 is coupled to the backlight control module 106 and the man-machine interface module 108, and is used to detect the current image signal source to obtain the digital average brightness value of the picture to be displayed...
