Abstract

The invention discloses a method for downloading base station versions, comprising the following steps: sending a version downloading order to corresponding numerical base stations by OMC in accordance with supportable downloading number; receiving downloading finishing information sent by a downloading finishing base station for the OMC and the downloading finishing information comprises current version information, address information and the supportable downloading number of the base station; and sending a version downloading order to other base stations which are to carry out downloading by the OMC in accordance with the downloading finishing information and requiring other base stations to obtain the versions from the downloading finishing base stations. The invention also provides a corresponding device and a corresponding system. In the invention, one base station downloads the versions from the OMC and then downloads the versions for the other base stations as a server, thus reducing downloading load of the OMC, accelerating downloading speed of the versions in all base stations and decreasing the time of downloading versions in all base stations.
