Abstract

The invention provides a patent technology path analysis method. The method is based on a patent database and adopts a patent technology path analysis system. The system comprises a theme establishing module, a patent sorting module, a technology selection module and an image display module. The method comprises the following steps of: retrieving a patent in the patent database through the theme establishing module, and establishing a patent analysis theme base; sorting patent technologies in the patent analysis theme base by adopting the patent sorting module; selecting technology assortment to be analyzed in the technology selection module; and displaying the patent technology path by the image display module in a manner of a matrix chart, wherein the horizontal axis of the matrix chart is the patent application years, the vertical axis of the matrix chart is the patent technology assortment, and the intersection of the horizontal axis and the vertical axis is all patent technology assortments and corresponding patent number thereof in the patent application years. The evolution conditions of the patent technologies over the years is visually and accurately reflected through the matrix chart, which facilitates tracking the development of the patent technologies.
