Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for learning Chinese characters by utilizing components and radicals of the Chinese characters. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) establishing a database taking the components and the radicals of the Chinese characters as indexes; (2) inputting the information of the components and the radicals of the Chinese characters to be learned; (3) inquiring the Chinese characters containing the input components and radicals; (3.1) receiving the information of the components and the radicals of the input Chinese characters; (3.2) inquiring in the database established in the step (1), finishing a procedure and returning to the step (2) if code values which correspond to the Chinese characters containing the input components and radicals are not inquired according to the indexes, and carrying out a step (4) if the code values which correspond to the Chinese characters containing the input components and radicals are inquired; and (4) displaying the inquired Chinese characters and pinyin information thereof. The invention solves the problem that learners are very easy to confuse the Chinese characters with similar fonts and can assist the learners to fast and effectively learn the Chinese characters and enhance the learning interests of the learners; and in addition, the device has simple structure and is convenient for operation.
