The method comprises the following steps of: setting page dynamic effect parameters for realizing page dynamic display by a set module; when the set top box performs page display, resolving the page dynamic effect parameters by a browser resolving module to obtain page dynamic display information; controlling pages to be displayed dynamically according to a set dynamic display mode by an effect control module according to the page dynamic display information; and displaying the dynamic display process of the pages on a screen by a display module. In the method, the page dynamic effect parameters are added into a cascading style sheet protocol, and the pages are controlled to perform the dynamic display according to the page dynamic effect parameters, so that the page dynamic display of the set top box is realized.
