Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for querying user data through a Sh interface in a multimedia subsystem (IMS), which are used for querying data through the Sh interface between an application server and a home subscriber server. The method comprises steps that: the application server receives a registration message of a certain public user identity (PUI) and transmits a request message for querying the user data to the home subscriber server; and the home subscriber server returns all PUI in an implicit registration set to which the PUI belongs and the user data corresponding to all PUI to the application server through a response message. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages that: query operation message number at the Sh interface is simplified and the query efficiency is improved.
