Embodiment Construction

[0017] The photoelectric smoke detector based on forward small-angle scattering provided by the present invention uses the distribution information of scattered light received by the detection system along with the scattering angle to identify smoke particles and dust particles.

[0018] The detection chamber 8 is a cylindrical dark chamber, which can block the entry of ambient light, but the smoke particles can enter smoothly. For example, a group of "V" shaped slices can be used to form the side wall of the cylindrical chamber. A light source 1 is installed on one side of the detection chamber 8. The light source 1 can be a laser diode or a light-emitting diode in the visible and near-infrared band (between 400nm and 900nm), preferably a laser diode. An incident lens 2 , a receiving lens system 5 , a partition 6 and a detector 7 are installed in sequence along the light emitting direction of the light source 1 . The incident lens 2 focuses the light emitted by the light so...

Abstract

The invention discloses a photoelectric smoke detector based on forward scattering in a small angle. The detector comprises a detection chamber provided with a light source, an incident lens, a receiving lens system and a detector which have the same optical axis in sequence; a baffle board is arranged between the receiving lens system and the detector; the incident lens focuses the incident light of the light source on particles in the center of the detection chamber; and the receiving lens system transmits the forward scattering light in a small angle of the particles in the center of the detection chamber to the detector. The photoelectric smoke detector lowers the requirements on the sensitivity of the detector, increases the response speed for smoke particles, decreases the false alarm rate of the detector and reduces the error of obtaining the scattering intensity distribution.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of fire detection, in particular to a photoelectric smoke detector based on forward small-angle scattering. Background technique [0002] Fire detection is an important means to prevent fires. Photoelectric smoke detectors based on the principle of light scattering are the most widely used conventional detectors in current fire detection and alarm systems. The photoelectric smoke detectors in the prior art usually receive the scattered light intensity signal of a specific wavelength (usually near-infrared light) at a specific forward or backward scattering angle to realize the perception of smoke particles, such as patent CN101147053, CN1198237 and so on. This type of detector mainly has the defect that it cannot effectively identify interfering particles such as dust, which leads to false alarms. The existence of false alarms has seriously affected the use of photoelectric smoke detectors. In 2004, the Na...
