AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented describes an approach called End ToEnd Communication or Distributed Computing Networks (EDN). These technologies allow two devices at once send data directly into another device without going through any intermediate nodes like routers. By doing this, they improve both their performance and spectral utilization compared to traditional methods such as LTE/WLAN systems.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem addressed in this patented text relates to enabling efficient device-to -device communication without causing interruptions in existing infrastructure networks such as LTE/UMTS networks. Current techniques like time division duplexing only allow one connection per second but cannot meet these needs because some connections could still exist even if all were used simultaneously. Additionally, current solutions involve assigning fixed resources exclusively towards either directional or non-directional channels, leading to wasted capacity resources.

Embodiment Construction

[0020] For ease of understanding, the present invention takes a D2D communication network under the LTE-A system as an example to illustrate that the D2D technology is applied to a cellular network, and the base station selects the D2D user pair and the cellular user by positioning the position of the D2D user pair. A method for resource reuse patterns. Suppose there are 10 cellular users in the system, U 1 , U 2 ,...,U 10 ; There are two pairs of D2D users, (D 1 ,D 2 ) and (D 3 ,D 4 ). Here, the number of cellular users and the number of D2D user pairs may be different. The present invention is generally applicable to all network structure models having the basic features in this example. These D2D users can directly communicate under the coordination of the base station, and the D2D user pairs can share network resources with the macro cell communication during communication.

Abstract

The invention provides a technical scheme to be applied to a mobile communication cellular network, wherein a D2D (Device-to-Device) technology is applied to the cellular network so as to allow the communication between a D2D user pair by multiplexing resources of a cellular network user. The invention provides a method for selecting resource multiplexing modes for the D2D user pair and the cellular user based on the position of the D2D user pair. The method comprises the step of selecting an optimal resource multiplexing mode under the current scene according to the position of each pair of the D2D users so as to perform data transmission. In the scheme provided by the invention, the algorithm complexity for selecting the resource multiplexing modes for the D2D user pair and the cellular user by a base station is simplified; and the interference between the D2D user pair and the cellular user is effectively controlled. The method disclosed by the invention has strong practical operability, is easy to realize in practice, and has more flexible application manners.
