Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent input method for automatically identifying input equipment, which comprises the following steps that: 1, the input equipment sends a message signal to terminal equipment; 2, the terminal equipment calls an input equipment driver to analyze the received message signal so as to acquire the identification information of the input equipment; 3, the input equipment driver sends a message comprising the identification information of the input equipment to an application program for acquiring a focus; and 4, the application program for acquiring the focus calls an input method program, the input method program automatically adopts a corresponding input method strategy to submit a processing result to the application program for acquiring the focus according to the identification information of the input equipment, and the operation is finished if the input is finished and is switched to the step 1 to be continuously executed if the input is not finished. By the method, different input method strategies can be automatically adopted according to different types of input equipment, and a user is not required to manually adjust the corresponding input method, so that the requirement that the user finishes character input operation by using different input equipment can be conveniently met.
