Abstract

The invention discloses a method for drawing fully-dynamic fur under global illumination. The method comprises the following steps: S1: inputting the geometrical model and global illumination information of the fur to be drawn; S2: establishing a simplified fur scattering model based on physics, approximating a direction scattering function in the simplified fur scattering model by using the linear combination of polynomial and a round Gauss function; S3: establishing a sphere radial basis function model of the global illumination, approximating the sphere radial basis function by using the product of two round Gauss functions, so as to calculate the analytic integral of the global illumination and the fur scattering function; and S4: outputting the drawing result of the fur under the indicated global illumination. By using the method provided by the invention, the fully-dynamic fur can be drawn in real time under the global illumination, the calculating speed is quick, and no pretreatment is needed; and the method supports the fully dynamic change of a light source, a fur material and the fur geometry.
