Problems solved by technology

[0004] As the two spot moth is a new pest that has only attracted people's attention in recent years, the understanding of this pest is not enough. In places where the occurrence is relatively light, people will not pay attention to observation, they will think it is a cutworm, and they will not realize it at all. This is a new pest, and in severe areas, agric...

Embodiment 1

[0028] 1. Collecting Insect Samples

[0029] In mid-to-early August, during the blooming period of the spodopteryx moth, adults were lured by lamps in 13 cities and counties in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, and Shanxi provinces. The typical characteristics of the adults were used to ensure that the sampled samples were spodoptera sp., and then Store in 95% ethanol at -20°C.

Abstract

The invention relates to a deoxyribose nucleic acid (DNA) sequence for identifying the type of an insect, in particular to the DNA sequence of new corn insect athetis lepigone and a method for identifying a molecule of the athetis lepigone. The invention provides the DNA sequence of a cytochrome oxidase (COI) gene of the athetis lepigone. The DNA sequence comprises the sequence shown as SEQ ID No: 1 or the sequence with at least 99 percent of sequence identity of the sequence shown as SEQ ID No: 1. The DNA sequence and the method have the effect that whether an insect is the athetis lepigone or not can be quickly and accurately judged by comparing the COI gene sequence of the detected insect and the sequence provided by the invention, and a basis for taking a corresponding efficient control measure in a field is provided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a DNA sequence for identification of insect species, in particular to the DNA sequence of the new corn pest Spodoptera spp. and its molecular identification method. Background technique [0002] Two o'clock moth[ Athetis lepigone (M?schler, 1860)] is a new agricultural pest in my country's summer corn production areas. [0003] According to relevant records, in July 2005, it was first discovered in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province in China that the two-spot moth damages summer corn seedlings, bores the base of the stem, causes the seedlings to wilt and die, or bites off the corn roots, leading to lodging, causing Serious lack of seedlings and monopoly, this is the first report in China. According to reports, in 2010, Noctuid moths commonly occurred in the central and southern summer corn areas of Hebei Province. In 2011, they broke out in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and other provinces, with an area of more t...
