Abstract

A method of operating a wireless network node of a wireless communication network is disclosed herein. The radio network node has at least a first and a second downlink transmission mode, the first downlink transmission mode comprising normal operation of the particular network node and having a greater number of active terminals in a cell associated with the particular network node than the first mode The threshold applies, and the second downlink transmission mode comprises restricted downlink transmission of the specific network node and applies when the number of active terminals in a cell associated with the specific network node is less than or equal to the second mode threshold.
