The invention relates to a
wireless router with internal and external network separation architecture and a method for sharing a
wireless network based on the same. The
wireless router comprises a
wide area network (WAN) interface module, a wired
Ethernet module, a wireless internal
network module, a wireless external
network module, a
bandwidth allocation controller and an access
authentication controller, wherein the
bandwidth allocation controller is connected with the WAN interface module, the wired
Ethernet module and the wireless internal
network module respectively; the wireless external network module is connected with the
bandwidth allocation controller via the access
authentication controller; the bandwidth allocation controller is used for allocating the network bandwidth among the wired
Ethernet module, the wireless internal network module and the wireless external network module; and the access
authentication controller is controlled by a whole network access authentication center arranged on
the internet. According to the scheme, the bandwidth allocation and control mechanism is made clear; the
broadband owner can configure the network bandwidth reasonably; and the internal network bandwidth is completely used by the
broadband owner, and the external network bandwidth is provided for external network users, thus completing the sharing of
wireless network bandwidth resources.
