Abstract

The invention relates to a method used for applying fluid on a roller of a printing device of a printer. The invention provides a method improving the interference capability. In the invention, a pump is used for conveying fluid from a container to a metering device and collecting redundant fluid in a bowl below the metering device. A sensor is used to measure an actual liquid level continuously and the actual liquid level is compared with a rated liquid level. And the liquid level of the fluid in the collecting bowl is controlled by operating a mechanism used for conveying the liquid from the bowl to the storage container according to a comparison signal. When a value of the actual liquid level is larger than a predetermined value in a given time and the changed actual liquid level lasts longer than a predetermined time, the control device is stopped, thereby making the bowl empty and discharging the liquid into the storage container and making the control device starting operation again after the waiting time finishes.
