Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of telecommunication, and provide a method, device, and system for highlighting a party of interest in video conferencing. The present invention effectively utilizes network bandwidth and enhances conference efficiency. The method comprises: audio and video signals received from multiple conference-participating terminals are converted to multiple independent video images corresponding to the multiple conference-participating terminals, and the multiple video images are displayed by means of a display device; and the display factors of the multiple video images are adjusted according to acquired display priority signals for the video images, so that the multiple video images present different visual characteristics on the display device. Embodiments of the present invention are applicable to video conferencing.
