The computed tomography device(11) comprises a machine frame (12)including a static part (13) and a rotation part(14) around a system axis (15), and a patient support plate(21) capable of moving in the direction of the system axis(15). The rotation part is provided with a x-ray source(16) and a radiation detector(17), which are opposite to each other. The x-ray source(16) is provided with a diaphragm (30), which is provided with diaphragm elements (31,32), which can be moved in the direction of the system axis(15), and can be used to limit a X-ray bund (18) emitted from the x-ray source(16) in the direction of the system axis(15).
