Abstract

The invention provides a surface modification zeolite used for removing phosphorus and a preparation method thereof. The surface modification zeolite is made with the material relatively low in cost, that is, obtained via the surface modification of the zeolite, thereby raising the dephosphorization efficiency. The method for making the surface modification zeolite comprises the following steps: respectively providing a zeolite and a water sulfuric acid solution; soaking the zeolite in the water sulfuric acid solution; and removing the zeolite from the solution and carrying out heating treatment over the zeolite under a temperature ranging from 270 to 300 DEG C, thereby forming sulfate upon the surface of the zeolite.
