Abstract

The invention discloses a method for acquiring performance index configuration data of a slave network element and equipment, belonging to the field of communication. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring an installation packet of performance plugins released by the slave network element by first equipment when a new slave network element is added into a network framework or the slave network element in the network framework is upgraded, wherein the installation packet comprises a first plugin and a second plugin, the first plugin comprises the performance index configuration data, required to be stored in the first equipment, of the slave network element, and the second plugin comprises the performance index configuration data required to be stored in second equipment; acquiring the first plugin and the second plugin from the installation packet, and installing the first plugin to acquire the performance index configuration data of the slave network element; sending a first synchronous request message to the second equipment, wherein the first synchronous request message carries the second plugin; and installing the second plugin by the second equipment to acquire the performance index configuration data of the slave network element.
