The double-screen display device further comprises a double-screen display module, an electric quantity detecting module, an electric quantity judging module and an single display module, wherein the double-screen display device is used for starting the first display screen and the second display screen and dividing the interface into two parts to be respectively displayed on the first display screen and the second display screen; the electric quantity detecting module is used for obtaining residual electric quantity of the double-screen display device; the electric quantity judging module is used for judging whether the residual electric quantity is less or equal to preset critical electric quantity; and the single screen display module is used for closing the second display screen and merging the interface displayed on the first display screen and the second display screen to be displayed on the first display screen when the residual electric quantity is less than or equal to the critical electric quantity. According to the invention, the double-screen display device closes one display screen when the residual electric quantity is less than or equal to the preset critical electric quantity, so as to slow down the speed of electricity consumption and prolong the use time.
