Abstract

The invention provides an on-screen display (OSD) three-dimensional (3D) display device which comprises a video input unit, a video processing unit, a 3D processing unit and an output unit. The video input unit receives externally input 3D video signals; the video processing unit generates OSD, scales and splits the OSD according to 3D formats of the 3D video signals received by the video input unit and then synthesizes the OSD and the 3D video signals; the 3D processing unit receives the 3D video signals synthesized by the video processing unit and generates a corresponding image according to the formats of the 3D video signals; and the output unit outputs the image generated by the 3D processing unit to a screen of the display device for displaying. The 3D display device analyzes the 3D formats of the 3D video signals, scales and splits the OSD according to the 3D formats and finally integrates the processed OSD and the 3D video signals to form new OSD, and accordingly, OSD abnormity caused by directly sticking the OSD to the 3D signals is avoided.
