The open platform system comprises an application programming interface (API) gateway server, an authentication server and a right storage server, wherein the API gateway server is used for reporting related information of the third-party applications to the authentication server after receiving respective requests of the third-party applications, allowing the requests of the third-party applications when receiving an authentication success notice sent by the authentication server and returning an authentication failure notice to each third-party application when receiving the authentication failure notice sent by the authentication server; the authentication server is used for authenticating the related information of the third-party applications, reported by the API gateway server, according to authorization information of the third-party applications, stored in the right storage server, sending the authentication success notice to the API gateway server if authentication is successful, and otherwise, sending the authentication failure notice to the API gateway server; and the right storage server is used for storing the authorization information of all the third-party applications.
