The invention discloses a method and a system of combining multiple internet protocol (IP) regional information bases and relates to the technology of IP base combination. The method includes the steps of ensuring IP segment partition of an integrated IP base according to IP segment partition of all original IP bases, counting transfer frequency between IP segments of the integrated IP base according to all user journals of user computers with stable geographic positions, respectively calculating confidence coefficient of each IP segment of the integrated IP base in regional information of each original IP base according to statistics of the transfer frequency, and taking the calculated regional information with the highest confidence coefficient of each IP segment of the integrated IP base in each original IP base as the final regional information of each IP segment of the integrated IP base. The invention further discloses the system of combining the multiple IP regional information bases. The method and the system of combining the multiple IP regional information bases has the advantages of evaluating the confidence coefficient of the regional information, achieving relatively accurate combination of the regional information in each IP base, enabling the integrated IP base to include the most accurate regional information, thereby obtaining the integrated IP base superior to all the original IP bases.
