Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and systems for reconfiguring the interrelationships between components of a virtual computing network. Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods and systems for reconfiguring virtual computing networks (e.g., grid etc.) methods of interrelationships between components. In an exemplary embodiment, a set of information relating to a set of components associated with a virtual computing network is received in a computer memory medium or the like. Based on the set of information, a graphical representation (eg, a hierarchical tree) depicting a set of interrelationships between the set of components is generated. When a fault is detected in the virtual computing network, at least one of a set of interrelationships between the set of components is reconfigured based on the graphical representation and a set of rules to resolve the fault.
