Abstract

A method and apparatus for testing flexible cable shields for consumer electronic devices are provided. In one embodiment, the method may include applying a signal across the first portion of the flexible cable shield and the second portion of the flexible cable shield. The method may also include detecting a parameter associated with the signal. The method may include determining a health of the flexible cable shield based at least in part on the detected parameter.
