PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a reduced height.SOLUTION: An electric connector where an extension direction of a coaxial cable is nearly perpendicular to an insertion direction to a mating connector includes: a terminal having a contact part whose upper surface has contact with a central conductor of the coaxial cable and a fitting part to be fitted to the mating connector; an insulation seat having a body part for storing the fitting part of the terminal, shoulder parts extending in the extension direction from the body part, and a middle lid part that is connected to an upper part of the body part, where a connection part is bent, and that holds by pressure at least the central conductor of the coaxial cable arranged on the upper surface of the contact part in the terminal; and an external conductor having a storage part for storing the body part of the insulation seat and an outer lid part that is connected to an upper part of the storage part, where a connection part is bent, and that is bent by pressurizing an outer surface of the middle lid part and a dielectric part of the coaxial cable. The shoulder parts have end surfaces on the extension direction outer sides of coaxial cable side end parts in the contact part, and include: an inclined plane extending to a part lower than the upper surface of the contact part in the terminal toward a distal end; and wall surfaces erected on both sides of the inclined plane.
