Abstract

Aspects of the subject matter described herein relate to storage architectures. In aspects, addresses provided by data sources are translated into logical storage addresses for virtual storage. This logical storage address is mapped to an identifier that can be used to store data on or retrieve data from the storage system. The address space of virtual storage is divided into chunks that can be streamed to the storage system.
