Abstract

The invention provides a flexible keyboard comprising a flexible surface layer and a group of key frame module coupled to one side of the flexible surface layer. The flexible surface layer can be made of at least one of polyurethane or polyester. The key frame module may comprise a metal support plate used for guiding signals and key structures located on the metal support plate and used for providing touch feedback when key modules are activated. Plastic key cap structures can be located on dome structures. The flexible surface layer can be coupled to the plastic key caps. If the flexible surface layer is a rubber surface layer or a textile surface layer, the key structures can be dome structures. If the flexible surface layer is a rubber surface layer, the key structures can be scissor key structures. The flexible key caps can be molded to the flexible surface layer.
