Embodiment Construction

[0052] figure 1 : The figure shows a schematic representation of a single effect absorption solar cooler cycle. Solar coolers use solar heat 1 or other sources of heat to power and produce cold liquid refrigerant for air conditioning. The evaporator 5, shown as a unit with separate tubes, may be located near the solar thermal panel 1 or at a suitable distance. The system can be located under or near the solar thermal panels.

[0053] Solutions may be added corrosion inhibitors, mass transfer accelerators or other chemicals used to enhance the performance and life of the equipment or to reduce maintenance needs. Where the working fluid comprises lithium bromide and water, the solution solubility may range from 45% to 65%, preferably 50% to 63% and optimally 54% to 60% of the Libr number. The system operates under vacuum conditions at absolute pressures corresponding to evaporation temperatures of 6°C-20°C.

[0054] The energy supply to the system is mainly provided by sola...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for chilling a building comprising the steps of: heating a working solution contained in a solar panel using solar radiation, separating the heated working solution in vapor 10 and a concentrated working solution, condensing the vapor to liquid refrigerant, evaporating the liquid refrigerant, (i) in a building to be chilled or (ii) outside a building to be chilled, wherein the cooling obtained by evaporation is transferred to a cooling liquid outside the building and transported to the building to be chilled for delivery of the cooling, absorbing in an absorber the vapor in the concentrated working solution, and returning the working solution to the first step.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for cooling buildings and a building refrigeration system using solar thermal energy. The present invention aims to provide an improved solar absorption cooler while reducing resource consumption. Background technique [0002] In warm climate regions or spaces where the temperature increases beyond acceptable conditions due to external and internal heat sources, the need for cooling arises. The spaces being cooled can be homes, offices, schools, hotel spaces, bungalows, storage rooms, processing areas and applications requiring space, process or cargo conditions. Therefore, in order to avoid temperatures exceeding the comfort zone or acceptable temperature range, buildings can be equipped with air conditioning units. The most common air conditioning unit is a chiller operated by electricity to convert the electricity into a heat cooling supply (usually air or cold water). [0003] With the presence of the sun and th...
