Abstract

The cell reselection method comprises steps: a first network module of the mobile terminal sends a cell reselection request to a second network module; the second network module receives the cell reselection request and sends a decoding request to a baseband module of the mobile terminal; the baseband module receives the decoding request, carries out decoding on synchronous messages and broadcast messages of a target cell and feeds the decoding result to the second network module; during any of the above process, if the baseband module receives a paging message of a first terminal card or a second terminal card, the reselection process is stopped; and based on the decoding result, the first terminal card carries out resident of the target cell. According to the technical scheme, paging missing of the mobile terminal during the cell reselection process can be reduced.
