An embodiment of the invention provides a method applied in a storage device for loading HTML (hypertext markup language) execution environments, a method applied in a terminal device for loading HTML execution environments, the corresponding storage device and the corresponding terminal device. According to one embodiment of the invention, the method for loading the HTML execution environments is applied to the storage device, wherein a plurality of HTML execution environments for an HTML specific edition are prestored in the storage device and are in one-to-one correspondence to a plurality of operating systems. The method comprises steps as follows: when the terminal device is connected to the storage device, device description information of the terminal device is acquired; an operating system used by the terminal device is determined according to the description information; a target HTML execution environment corresponding to the operating system used by the terminal device is determined in the plurality of HTML execution environments; and part of data contained in the target HTML execution environment are sent to the terminal device, so that the terminal device loads part of data into an internal storage of the terminal device, and the target HTML execution environment is operated.
