The method comprises the first step of obtaining vertical component data of vertical seismic data, the second step of obtaining the interval velocity of the vertical seismic data based on first arrival of longitudinal waves, the third step of conducting normalization processing on the vertical component data to obtain a total energy attenuation coefficient sequence, the fourth step of converting the vertical component data in a time domain into seismic data in a depth domain, the fifth step of obtaining a spherical diffusion attenuation coefficient sequence and a stratum absorption attenuation coefficient sequence of the seismic data in the depth domain, and the sixth step of using a result obtained by dividing a total energy attenuation coefficient by the product of the spherical diffusion attenuation coefficient sequence and the stratum absorption attenuation coefficient sequence as a stratum transmission coefficient, obtaining energy compensation for seismic wave transmission attenuation according to the stratum transmission coefficient and conducting transmission attenuation compensation on the seismic data.
