Abstract

The invention discloses a device which automatically tighten or loosen a tie. The device comprises an outer cover, a power supply device and a pair of motors. The pair of motors is connected to a pair of epicyclic gearboxes. The pair of epicyclic gearboxes is connected to a pair of bobbins. The tie winds around the pair of bobbins so as to enable the motors to drive the pair of bobbins to rotate after the motors are started. The outer cover can be arranged in a tongue of a shoe or on the external portion of the shoe. The tie of the device is a shoelace. After a user starts the motors, the tie winds around the bobbins so as to tighten the shoelace.
