Abstract

The computer-implemented method includes enabling a user of incident recorder playback software to select a past time period for recording locomotive incident data. The method includes presenting recorded video data recorded by one or more imaging devices on board the locomotive during a past time period, presenting recorded GPS map data indicating the geographic location of the locomotive during the past time period, and presenting recorded video data recorded during the past time period locomotive operating data. The presentation of recorded video data, recorded GPS map data, and recorded locomotive operation data is synchronized based on common attributes associated with all recorded data. The selection animation of one or more of the presentations of recorded data results in the simultaneous implementation of the same selection animation of another of the presentations of recorded data.
