Abstract

The invention discloses a method for processing knotwork by using banana leaf sheaths. The method comprises the following specific steps of (1) raw materials treatment: peeling off the banana leaf sheaths one by one after bananas are harvested and removing rotten and degenerative leaf sheaths and other impurities; (2) water removal: removing water of the banana leaf sheaths obtained in the step (1); (3) modified treatment: spraying a layer of modifying agents on the surfaces of the banana leaf sheaths obtained in the step (2) and standing; (4) drying: drying the banana leaf sheaths obtained in the step (3); and (5) bundling and storing: collecting the dry banana leaf sheaths obtained in the step (4), neatly stacking and bundling the dry banana leaf sheaths in a centralized manner and then storing the dry banana leaf sheaths in a dry environment of a warehouse. The modifying agents are aqueous solution formed by mixing urea resin and polyacrylamide, the mass concentration of the aqueous solution is 0.1-0.5%, and the mass ratio of the urea resin to the polyacrylamide is 1:1-2. The banana leaf sheaths are treated by the modifying agents consisting of the urea resin and the polyacrylamide, and the toughness and the color of the banana leaf sheaths can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of agricultural products, in particular to a method for processing banana leaf sheaths for weaving handicrafts. Background technique [0002] Pubei County is one of the largest knitting handicraft production base counties in Guangxi and even in the country. There are as many as 49 knitting enterprises above the designated size in the county. It is one of the important and characteristic pillar industries with the most economic development potential in Pubei County. In 2007, Pubei County achieved a total industrial output value of 6.52 billion yuan, of which, the knitting industry completed sales revenue of 926 million yuan and paid taxes (comprehensive tax was paid at 9%) 83.34 million yuan, accounting for 14.2% and 18.2% of taxes. With the continuous increase and expansion of the scale of weaving enterprises in Pubei County, rattan, bamboo, awn sticks, sea cucumber wood, water floating lotus, and crop oran...
