The volute used for the refrigerator comprises a first sub-volute and a second sub-volute, wherein the first sub-volute is provided with a first cavity, a first opening communicated with the first cavity and an upper air outlet with an upward opening; the second sub-volute is provided with a second cavity, a second opening communicated with the second cavity and a lower air outlet with a downward opening, an air inlet is formed in one of the first sub-volute and the second sub-volute, wherein the first sub-volute is connected with the second sub-volute, and the first cavity is communicated the second cavity through the first opening and the second opening. The volute used for the refrigerator according to the embodiment of the invention can preferably meet the requirement of the refrigerator on bidirectional air output.
