By utilizing the self-driven ulothrix culturing device and the cultural method thereof, the electric energy and the chemical energy which are produced when a microorganism oxidizes the sediment are used for culturing and producing the ulothrix by the carbon plate; inorganic carbon produced by sediment decomposing is supplied to ulothrix for growth by an electrochemical system.
