Abstract
The invention relates to an insecticidal composition containing chlopyrifos and pirimiphos-methyl. The insecticidal composition contains the active components--chlopyrifos and pirimiphos-methyl, wherein a weight ratio of chlopyrifos to pirimiphos-methyl is 1: 25 to 25: 1, and chlopyrifos and pirimiphos-methyl account for 1 to 80% of the weight of the composition. The insecticidal composition may further comprise a carrier, a surfactant, an emulsifier, a dispersant, a capsule-wall material and a solvent. According to the invention, through binary compounding of chlopyrifos and pirimiphos-methyl, the insecticidal composition has synergistic insecticidal effect and especially exerts outstanding prevention and treatment effects on wheat, paddy rice, plant hoppers, whiteflies, aphids, scale insects and spider mites.
