Abstract

The present invention relates to simian adenovirus nucleic acid and amino acid sequences, vectors containing them and uses thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to novel adenovirus strains with improved seropositivity. In one aspect, the invention relates to isolated polypeptides of adenoviral capsid proteins such as hexon, penton and fibrin, fragments thereof and polynucleotides encoding the same. Also provided are vectors comprising the isolated polynucleotides according to the invention and adenoviruses comprising the isolated polynucleotides or polypeptides according to the invention and pharmaceutical combinations comprising said vectors, adenoviruses, polypeptides and / or polynucleotides things.
