The invention further provides a preparation method of the mixed natural antibacterial agent. The preparation method includes: weighing the ampelopsin grossedentata extract, the natural fragrant materials and the mixed solution of propylene glycol and water according to the weight percentage, and heating to dissolve the ampelopsin grossedentata extract in propylene glycol aqueous solution; adding the natural fragrant materials into the solution, and well mixing to obtain the mixed natural antibacterial agent. The invention further provides cosmetics containing the mixed natural antibacterial agent. The mixed natural antibacterial agent can effectively inhibit the microorganism reproduction in the cosmetics and can replace chemically-synthesized preservatives, and accordingly product irritation is lowered and product safety is increased.
